Admission Non-degree Studies and Co-Registration

Non-degree study includes visiting individual courses in scholarly subjects. Please note that as non-degree student it is not possible to participate in all courses, especially the participation in artistic subjects is not possible.

For enrolment for non-degree study you can appear in person at the registrar's office or via e-mail: studienabteilung@akbild.ac.at . Admission as a non-degree student requires the following documentation:

• Valid passport or proof of citizenship including official photo identification (original)
• Two passport photos
• Proof of social security number (if applicable)

The co-registration at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna entitles students for attending individual courses. Please note that the first co-registration as well as the continuation of co-registration is only possible during the general registration.

First co-registration: you have to do the online-registration: https://campus.akbild.ac.at. The registration could be in person at the Registrar’s Office or via e-mail: studienabteilung@akbild.ac.at . Please bring your actual “Studienblatt” and student identification card from your home university with you.

Continuation of co-registration: in person at the Registrar’s Office or via e-mail to studienabteilung@akbild.ac.at . Please note that also for the continuation of co-registration the above mentioned documents are necessary.

The co-registration ends, if the student does not renew his co-registration until the end of late registration.
