Haus des Baumes opened in front of MuseumsQuartier in Vienna
The walk-in art installation shows the importance of the forest in times of climate change - a cooperation between the Austrian Federal Forests, the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and MQ. The design by the Vienna-based artist Johannes Franz-Figeac was selected by a jury of experts as part of the graduate funding program. Franz-Figeac was accompanied in the implementation by Mona Hahn, Johannes Hoffmann and Richard Reisenberger-Littasy, artists and teachers at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, in the form of mentoring.
