Birgit-Jürgenssen-Award 2023
The 20th award ceremony of the Birgit Jürgenssen Prize - this time to Hanna Kučera - will take place on April 19, 2023 at 6 pm in the Aula of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna at Schillerplatz. On the occasion of the anniversary, a publication will be published in cooperation with the BMKÖS, presenting the award winners of the years 2014 to 2023, which will also be presented on this evening.

Award ceremony of the Cathrin Pichler-Prize 2023
This year the Cathrin Pichler Prize was awarded to Masimba Hwati. Masimba Hwati works as an artist intermediary in the fields of sculpture, sound, performance and video. Since 2020, Masimba Hwati has been part of the PHD in Practice program at the Academy.
